Juanita Vol. 1

Ako: "Juanita, how old are you?"

Juanita: "Well....I was born in 1921..."

Ako: "Ok...good...this year is 2006...so how old are you?"

Juanita: "Well...you see I was born in 1963..."

Ako: "???? Ok...so how old are you?"

Juanita: "Well..."

Stares at me trying to look for answers.

Ako: "How old do you think I am?"

Juanita: "About the same age as I am." (Gosh!)

Ako: "Ok...how old?"

Juanita: "Well...there's 1 and a 2 and a 3." (Hmmm sasayaw na ba kami ng lagay na yan?)

She's 83 years old by the way.

Ako: "Juanita, what's my name?"

Juanita: "Well....I know it has two sessions...one in the right and one in the left..."

Ako: "????"

After a few seconds of silence....

Juanita: "Mia!?"
