Yoga creates harmony and balance not just within the body but within the person itself. It helps expel the toxins and the wastes through sweating and even farting in some occasions. No kidding, the twists and turns of the body can really make you fart and burp as I would have experienced and as what my yoga instructor would explain to us. Different positions can make you unload that fresh-from-the-gut air.
In this period of my life, where I feel that most of the financial and family responsibilities rest on my shoulders and with all what I think is chaos and imbalance within my life for lack of some of the fundamental aspects of my personality whether it may be religion or spiritual or social and love life, I find yoga to be very helpful in attaining inner peace even for just an hour. Helps you to keep your sanity intact for the whole week.
I'd like to get addicted to yoga...not because it can also be a means for weight management but also to clear my head of the problems I/my family face everyday. And to attain that peace, harmony and balance despite the stormy weather in summer.
